GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- The Religious Communities of Glen Rock will be hosting the 46th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service on Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 233 South Highwood Avenue.

Rabbi Jennifer Schlosberg from the Glen Rock Jewish Center will be the preacher for the evening.

Leadership of the worship service will be shared by various members of local religious groups.

Established in 1971, the Religious Communities of Glen Rock is an organization that includes representatives from all the religious institutions in the borough.

The Nov. 25 service will bring the various groups together in a celebration of thanksgiving and praise.

The evening will include music led by Peter Calabro, Good Shepherd’s director of music.

Monetary and food offerings will be accepted at the event.

The monetary offering will go to the Social Services Association of Ridgewood, a non-profit, private agency that provides temporary assistance to families and individuals in Glen Rock, HoHoKus, Midland Park, Ridgewood, Waldwick and Wyckoff.

Check donations can be made payable to “Religious Communities of Glen Rock.”

The food offering will be donated to the Center for Food Action, an organization that provides emergency food, advocacy, rent and utility assistance throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties.

A reception will follow the service.
