GLEN ROCK, N. J. -- "Big Snow" by Jonathan Bean is the featured story for the Winter StoryWalk starting Jan. 9 at Glen Rock's Thielke Arboretum.
Large, laminated pages from the book will be posted throughout the StoryWalk trail at the arboretum for walkers to read. The trail entrance is near the pool parking lot at the arboretum, 460 Doremus Ave., Glen Rock.

"Big Snow" is Bean's latest book, featuring a boy named David who can't wait for the next big snow. The illustrated children's book is geared for kids ages 3-6 but can be enjoyed by all.
Bean, the author/illustrator, has received several awards for his books, including two Boston Globe-Horn Book Awards for two of his six illustrated books. His books also have been featured on the New York Times' book lists.
StoryWalk started in Vermont and now 48 states use it as a way to get people outside and reading at the same time.
