Each year, the Department of Public Works plants trees in the borough's right of ways, according to Glen Rock's website.

Homeowners can put in the request to DPW (473 Doremus Ave), the Recycling Center (Demarest Street) or Borough Hall (1 Harding Plaza).

The types of trees available (depending on availability):

  • Bonfire Sugar Maple;
  • Green Mountain Silver Linden;
  • Littleleaf Linden;
  • Lacebark Elm;
  • Village Green Japanese Zelkova;
  • Yellowwood;
  • Continental Honeylocust;
  • Sweet Gum (for wet areas)
