Located at the end of Berdan Avenue along the Avenue of Heroes in Fair Lawn's Memorial Park, The sand-bottom pool is surrounded by beach sand, and includes back beach areas comprised of grass and shade trees.
The pool is 300 feet across, and includes a children’s swimming area, slides, a raft and areas of depth from zero to 14 feet.
The facility has one main administration trailer, restrooms with showers and changing stations, small snack stand and restroom areas, two picnic grove areas and a lightning detection system.
It is a smoke free facility.
The pool is tentatively scheduled to open on Friday, June 24.
Regular business hours are Monday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
