Fair Lawn Cub Scouts Donate 130 Pounds Of Food To Local Pantry

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Fair Lawn Cub Scout Pack 45 donated 130 pounds of food and 20 sock and toiletry gift bags to St. Anne's food pantry on Dec. 17.

According to Cub Scout Committee Chair Jess Hanson, Pack 45 started collecting food back in October. The food drive was part of their community service project in order to be able to compete in the pinewood derby in January. 

Cub Scout Pack 45 is made up of 46 boys between the ages of Kindergarten and fifth grade as well as 15 "sisters and seekers" (girls).
