FAIR LAWN, N.J. — After discovering that several Fair Lawn students owe lunch money dues, one high schooler from West Palm Beach, Fla. has offered to help out.

The only things stopping him is the school's principal, James Marcella.

"It is not the policy of the Fair Lawn High School to prevent any student from graduating based upon any outstanding obligation that they may owe," Marcella told School Lunch Fairy founder Christian Cordon-Cano.

The junior founded the organization to raise funds for students who need help paying for their lunches.

So far, he has donated $5,000 to students in Florida, Indiana, Iowa and California.

"I would like to make a donation to Fair Lawn High School to alleviate the lunch debt situation as much as possible," he told Daily Voice.
