GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Three more graduates have joined the ranks of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Michelle Hillock, Vincent Amatulli and Chris Leishear graduated from the Bergen County EMS Training Center on June 21.
Hillock said she went out for the GRVAC because she is interested in medicine and plans to go to medical school. She thought EMT training and experience would help her know if she was headed in the right direction.
"I like to help people and I want to make a difference in people's lives," Hillock, 17, told the Daily Voice. She will be a senior at Glen Rock High School in September.
She said the hardest part was learning human anatomy in a week.
"I definitely want to learn more," she said.
After Hillock, Amatulli and Leishear pass the state test, they will be EMTs.
