New York Times Columnist Praises Fair Lawn Author

FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Bob Brody of Fair Lawn recently received accolades from a New York Times columnist about his book.

The book is called “Playing Catch With Strangers: A Family Guy (Reluctantly) Comes of Age." 

"Mr. Brody’s 'Playing Catch' provides a winsome idiosyncratic odyssey from the Bronx to the suburbs and, after college, to Manhattan, where five weeks after he arrives, he is stabbed in the chest by a drug addict (a Vietnam veteran, as it happens, who consoles Mr. Brody by assuring him that he will survive the wound)," Sam Robert wrote.
