FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- One lottery player in New Jersey won $50,0000 in the Wednesday, April 20, Powerball drawing. The ticket was sold in Bergen County at Selrite Liquors, 17-65 River Rd., in Fair Lawn.
In addition, 43,243 New Jersey players also took home an estimated $226,464 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
"Congratulations to the fortunate lottery player who purchased the winning ticket," said Hedinger. "This lucky player will now join the growing ranks of New Jersey Powerball winners."
The Powerball jackpot will roll to $251 million for the next drawing, on Saturday, April 23.
