GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- At the Dec. 9 borough council meeting in Glen Rock, a resolution will be considered to establish a dog park.
Public comment will be heard by the council at this time.
The proposed site for the dog park is the old grass clippings dumping site behind the Glen Rock Recycling Center.
The plot of land is directly between Lower Faber ‘Brookside’ and Upper Faber. The proposed site is no longer used to collect the borough’s grass clippings as those operations are currently within the compost center.
The plot of land currently is vacant. The site has ample amount of parking directly in front of the site and public restrooms connected to the adjacent recycling center, which are open year round.
The park would be paid for by the nonprofit that has been established by residents to raise the money.
