Bottle King purchased the 3-acre tract in 2015, which features upscale commercially-zone structures along the front of the property, and homes in the rear section facing Keith Place, said North Jersey.com.

Prior to the Bottle King plan, town officials shot down a request from ARC Properties, to develop a Walgreen's and retail stores in the spot after neighbors opposed the plan, added North Jersey.com.
