GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Needing to reach out to residents and merchants during a recent E. coli water scare, Mayor Bruce Packer said he discovered that the borough didn't have a database of local businesses.
So it's creating one.
"We will be working with the Board of Health to create a list and a protocol for contacting [them] in the future when there are similar emergencies," he said.
The mayor created a page on the borough web site to begin collecting the information: https://tinyurl.com/GlenRockBusinesses
"Please help us by spreading the word and/or filling out info for your friend and neighboring businesses who may not see this," he urged.
