FAIR LAWN, N.J. — Fair Lawn resident Angelo Salvatore Serra died Friday, June 3. He was 56.
Born in Paterson, Serra lived in Elmwood Park for most of his life before moving to Fair Lawn six months ago.
He was a graduate of Elmwood Park High School and was a self-employed contractor in construction.
Serra is survived by his son, Steven and his wife, Melissa; his sons, Christopher and Matthew; and his parents, Michael and Marissa. He also is survived by his grandson, Greyson; his sister, Johanna Psota and her husband, John; his sister, Tina Mastrangelo and her husband, Peter; his brother, Michael Jr., and his wife, AnnaMaria; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park. The funeral Mass will start at 10 a.m. at St. Leo’s R.C. Church in Elmwood Park.
Cremation will be private.
