FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Ann Marie Elizabeth (Nugent) Landi, of Fair Lawn, died Tuesday, Sept. 15. She was 76.
Landi was born in 1961 in East Orange, the youngest daughter of John and Anna Nugent. She resided in Glen Rock before moving to Fair Lawn in 1961.
Landi was a member of the Red Hat Society of Fair Lawn. An avid bowler and cook, she was fond of dogs, especially Golden Retrievers. Ann enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor and her lasagna.
Landi was a former parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn.
Prior to retiring, she was a bookkeeper with Keystone Research and Development in Fair Lawn and NuTech Molding, Inc. in Pompton Lakes.
Landi is survived by her husband of 57 years Joseph V. Landi; children Joseph Valentino Landi and wife Merle, James John Landi, Michael Thomas Landi and wife Mary Anne and Christopher James Landi and wife Antonina; grandchildren Morgen, John, Sarah, Jacqueline, Anna, Mikey and Christopher “C.J.” She is predeceased by brother John Nugent and sister Lorraine Petrillo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Fund, Dr. John Chabot, 161 Fort Washington Ave., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10032. Checks should be made payable to the Trustees of Columbia University and “Pancreatic Cancer Fund” should be written in the memo section of the check.
