Clementine Tuzzolino, 89, Of Fair Lawn

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Clementine (Nicarus) Tuzzolino, 89, of Fair Lawn, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. 

Born and raised in Lodi, she resided in Fair Lawn for the past 60 years. 

She was a faithful parishioner of St. Catharine’s R.C. Church in Glen Rock. She enjoyed playing cards every other Tuesday with her friends, and going to the Empress Diner daily, where she was fondly known as everybody’s grandma. 

Tuzzolino enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, who she loved immensely. 

Prior to retiring, she was a secretary with Toys 'R' Us in Paramus for more than 25 years. 

She was the wife of the late Salvatore Tuzzolino; mother of Cheryl Simmons and her husband Earl and Jody Bertani and her former spouse Michael; grandmother of Shari, Steven and his wife Januelle, Joe and Brittany; great-grandmother of Kellan; sister-in-law of Marge Greenwood and her husband Jerry; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. A funeral Mass is planned for 9:30 a.m. Friday at St.Catharines R.C. Church, 905 Maple Ave. Glen Rock. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
