FAIR LAWN, N.J. – Felicisimo (Bobby) N. Espineli, of Fair Lawn, died Wednesday, April 20. He was 54.
Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, he resided in Fair Lawn for 15 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree from San Beda College in the Philippines in 1982. He was a CPA in the Philippines. He moved to New Jersey in 2001 and recently connected with Gene Dx.
He was a parishioner of St. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Fair Lawn. He spent most of his free time taking care of and spending time with his family. He made sure all of his children retained their connection to their Filipino roots and culture by instilling Filipino moral values at home. The practice of Catholicism was prevalent in his life, as well as the lives of his children and wife.
He was the husband of Marissa (Baranda) Espineli; father of Dr. Felipe Espineli, Margaret Espineli and Jacqueline Espineli; son of Segundina (Manguerra) and the late Amor Espineli, Esq.; brother of Hiyasmin Espineli, Menandro Espineli, Gen. Virgilio Espineli and Dr. Wilfredo Espineli; and uncle of Kristina, Sarah, Jaymie, Michael and Paolo.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-6 p.m. Saturday and 2-6 p.m. Sunday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. A funeral Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 2 at St. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Poor Claire Monastery of Isabella, Philippines and sent in care of Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.
