GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Patricia Ann Horeisch, 80, of Glen Rock, died Sunday, Oct. 9.
She was born Oct. 17, 1935, in New York, to Andrew T. and Lillie W. Twaite, and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hunter College in 1956 before receiving her master’s degree in biochemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
She retired from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood after more than 30 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Horeisch; daughters, Susan and Hugh Carr, Judith and Robert Byrnes and Christine and William Breitwieser; grandchildren, John, Peter, Daniel, Kyle, Sara, Colton and Christina; and brother, James and Ann Twaite.
She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Andrew Twaite and William Twaite.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn. Church services will follow at 3 p.m. Thursday at The Community Church of Glen Rock, 354 Rock Road, Glen Rock.
