GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Raymond J. Henry, of Mantoloking, died on Tuesday, March 29. He was 95.
A loyal and devoted New Jersey Devils fan, Henry was the first person to receive the 7th man honor. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR. He served as a trustee of the Bayview Shores Association in Mantoloking.
Prior to retiring, Henry served as president of Henry Brothers Electronics in Paramus for 30 years.
He is survived by his brothers, Hartford and John; nieces and nephews Jan West, Nora Jackson, Gail Koromhas, and Nancy, Jim and Mark Henry; and his loyal canine companions, Jorgi and Teddi.
Henry was predeceased by his wife, JoAnne (Lambert) Henry.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 1, at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Rd., in Fair Lawn. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations, 1345 Campus Parkway, Ste. A2, Neptune, NJ 07753, or Bayview Shores Association, 311 Bay Blvd., South Mantoloking, NJ 08738, to erect a bench where Henry enjoyed sitting to watch the sunset.
