Born in Biala Podlaska, Poland, he lived there for 26 years emigrating to the United States in 1974. He then lived in New York for 19 years settling in Fair Lawn 23 year ago. He worked 19 years with the Fair Lawn Board of Education before retiring in 2015. He was a parishioner of St. Anne’s RC Church in Fair Lawn. He was an avid New England Patriots Fan, and he enjoyed skiing, tennis, and swimming.
He is survived by his wife, Alina; children, Margaret Cremaldi-Fladie and husband Chris, and Ashley Bujalski; and siblings, Halina, Maria, Edward, Hendryk, Tadeusz, and Wieslaw.
He is predeceased by his brother, Mieczykaw.
Memorial visiting will be Tuesday 7-9 p.m. at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield.
