He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales in Vernon and a member of the Wanderers Car Club of Augusta.

His professional career was spent employed in transportation and logistics.
He is survived by his wife, Angela C. (Oueltte) Giszack; children Michael J. Giszack, Jr. and Brendan S. Giszack; brother Anthony F. Giszack; and mom Elizabeth (Simon).
He is predeceased by his father, Anthony Giszack.
Visitation will be March 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m at the Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home in Fair Lawn.
A Funeral Mass is planned for Friday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anne R.C. Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Michael to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123. In the memo section of the check, write "restricted to prevention, education/awareness."
