GLEN ROCK, N.J. – Detectives charged a store clerk from Paterson man with torching his car in a Glen Rock supermarket parking lot.
Christopher Rodriguez, 21, remained held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with aggravated arson and arson, following his arrest Wednesday.
A short earlier, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said, Rodriguez poured “ignitable liquid” in the cabin of his 2005 Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the Super Fresh Food Mart on Lincoln Avenue.
Grewal’s Arson Squad investigated along with Glen Rock police.
The prosecutor also thanked Wyckoff police.
