ONLY ON CVP: Members of the Fair Lawn Rescue Squad used the “Jaws of Life” to free an elderly male driver who was hospitalized following a crash just off Route 208 this afternoon.
A second person from the crash was taken to the hospital with chest pains, police said.
The off ramp of the northbound highway to eastbound Morlot Avenue was closed for roughly 20 minutes after the gold, 4-door Honda Accord crashed around 1:10 p.m.
Responding were Fair Lawn police, firefighters and EMS workers, along with a Basic Life Support unit from The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
