One of several officers who descended on the area following the mugging in the 100 block of Knickerbocker Road around 1:30 p.m. saw a possible suspect who fit the robber's description, Detective Capt. Tim Torell said.

The Dr. Leroy McCloud Elementary School on Tenafly Road was immediately locked down as officers briefly detained the man -- then released him after determining it wasn't their suspect, Torell told Daily Voice.

The lockdown was then lifted, he said.
