The 21-year-old woman was revived after Officers Juan Rodriguez, John Rovetto, John Kelly, Javier Gutierrez, Justin DiGuglielmo, Geovanny Buitron and Sgt. Kevin Wood responded to the Maple Avenue donut shop just after 8 p.m. Sunday.

Moments later, they found the heroin and needles in the vehicle she'd been travelling in with 22-year-old Eric Strunk of Westtown, Sgt. Brian Metzler said Monday.

The woman was taken to The Valley Hospital for treatment.

Strunk, meanwhile, was taken to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing on drug-related charges.
