FAIR LAWN, N.J. — A 27-year-old man from Fair Lawn was arrested on alcohol-related charges after leaving the scene of a crash last week, police said.
Fair Lawn police officers arrested Muhammad Khan, after his vehicle was spotted driving onto a lawn and striking another car on Summit Avenue on Nov. 8, authorities said.
Khan was unable to perform roadside sobriety tests and was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, failure to report a motor vehicle crash, failure to maintain a lane, reckless driving, careless driving and driving while intoxicated, according to police.
He was transported by volunteer ambulance to The Valley Hospital, authorities said.
