Fair Lawn Police Department Promotes Six Longtime Officers

Fair Lawn police toasted the promotion of six police officers Tuesday night.

  • Sergeant Peter Yuskaitis has been with the department more 18 years. He served as detective before his promotion. He is assigned to Lt. Scott's shift.
  • Captain Jospeh Dawicki has been with the department for 17 years. He served in the detective bureau before being promoted to captain of the patrol division.
  • Captain Brian LaRosa has been with the department for 23 years. He was assigned to the accreditation of the department and is now the captain of the administrative division.
  • Lt. Tim O'Shaughnessy has been with the department for 13 years. He is now the detective lieutenant. 
  • Lt. Paul Scott has been with the department for 19 years and will be the tour commander of his shift.
  • Lt. Jim Krizek has been with the department for 18 years and will be the accreditation lieutenant.
