Four Fair Lawn Police Veterans With 118 Combined Years Experience Retire

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- New Year's Eve marked the last official day -- and new beginnings -- for four veteran Fair Lawn police officers.

All "gave the utmost dedication and professionalism to the Borough of Fair Lawn and its residents throughout the years," PBA Local 67 noted.

Police Officer Tim Franco retires after 33 years.

Police Officer Louis Evangelista retires after 30 years.

Detective David Boone and Detective Lt. Michael Uttel retire after 25 years.

"We wish them the best and thanks again for your service," the PBA wrote.
