They also charged 43-year-old Mark C. Todd with three attempted commercial burglaries – also on West Pleasant, Police Chief David T. Pegg told Daily Voice on Thursday.

Todd took cash and electronics from the Dance Center and Union Tax Inc., while failing to force his way into Kathie’s Gifts, Coronet Variety Store and Mario’s Pizza, before dawn last Sept. 13, the chief said.

A judge ordered Todd held in the Bergen County Jail pending a bail hearing on various charges of burglary, theft and attempted burglary.
