Moonachie Police Exceed 2015 Teterboro Arrest Total After Eight Months

MOONACHIE, N.J. -- Moonachie police achieved the dubious distinction of exceeding last year's arrest total in Teterboro after only eight months on Monday when they took an accused Walmart shoplifter from Rockland County into custody.

Sgt. Jeffrey Napolitano and Officer Robert Bauer arrested 20-year-old Stefan Cameron of Spring Valley after store security said he swiped $135.38 worth of merchandise and exited the store, Detective Sgt. Anthony Fugnitti told Daily Voice.

Cameron was released on a court summons.

His was the 46th arrest for Moonachie police this year in Teterboro -- one more than last year.

At the current rate, they would have 69.
