Thin Bleu Line: Glen Rock Detective Sniffs Out Accused Cheese Thief, 66

GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- "Cheese it! The cops!" could refer to Glen Rock police, who busted their second accused cheese thief of the summer after a surveillance camera showed him snatching four wedges from Bottle King.

Surveillance footage showed the accused thief stashing the wedges in his jacket and leaving the store without paying, police said.

Detective Michael Trover arrested 66-year-old Boris Moshinsky of Fair Lawn after reviewing footage that showed him stashing the wedges in his jacket and leaving the Prospect Street store without paying, Sgt. Frank Riggio said.

Moshinsky was scheduled for an Aug. 15 Municipal Court hearing on shoplifting charges.

It was just several weeks earlier, in June, when a feisty Glen Rock Super Fresh employee chased and tackled another alleged cheese thief.
