Ethics Law Violation: Ex-Ridgewood Officials Fined

The Nov. 13 notices against the pair are related to the referendum question that sought $11.5 million in bonds or notes to pay for the construction of a new parking deck, the article says.

New Jersey law mandates that public resources may be used by government officials to educate but not persuade voters on public issues.
