FAIR LAWN, N.J.: In celebration of the release of Bob Dylan's "The Basement Tapes Complete," The THE BAND Band will bring an audience back to the 1967 source with a special show on Sept. 12 at The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club in the Fair Lawn Community Center.

Tickets are $25.

Dylan recorded more than 100 songs with The Band in the basement of a house known as Big Pink near Woodstock, NY, nearly a half-century ago.

Bootlegs from those sessions emerged over the years before 16 were issued on "The Basement Tapes" -- with songs including "I Shall Be Released," "Tears of Rage," and "Quinn the Eskimo."

Mystery and intrigue surrounded the remaining “lost” recordings, creating a myth that spawned books and stories about their existence.

They've been remastered and released for the "complete" edition.

Now in its eighth year, The THE BAND Band performs renditions of the Band's songs at theaters, clubs and festivals throughout the Northeast. Members include lifelong friends Jack Kraft and Gary Solomon, along with Vinny Nicosia, Mike Corbin and Josh Radin. They've opened for, among others, Richie Havens, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Aztec Two Step, and Marshall Crenshaw.
