Of the more than 60 winners who claimed top-tier prizes in the New Jersey Lottery last month, 11 of them purchased their tickets in Bergen and Passaic counties.
A total of $9.535 million was claimed in NJ Lottery top-tier prizes last month.
Seven Bergen County retailers sold $110,000 in prizes and four Passaic County retailers sold $100,000 in prizes.
Bergen County sold the most number of winning tickets (seven), with Essex County trailing behind (six).
Ocean and Hudson counties each sold five winning tickets, Passaic County at four, and Morris, Union and Somerset counties sold three each.
