Fair Lawn Residents: Register For Critical Digital & Phone Notifications

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Fair Lawn residents are invited to register to receive critical alerts on their phones. The communications service called Nixle allows the borough and the police department to send important, valuable community information via text message or email. Notifications can also be accessed online at Nixle’s website at www.nixle.com

The Borough also uses a telephone notification system called Code Red. This system, combined with our other emergency alert methods, is designed to get emergency messages to you the public, quickly and effectively. 

In an emergency, residents are still advised to call 911.

Residents and business owners can register for Nixle and telephone notifications through the Borough’s website at www.fairlawn.org under “Notification Sign-Up” on the main page of our web page.
