More than 130 attendees honored those named to the church and school's first Hall of Fame during an induction dinner at the Knights of Columbus.

"It was wonderful, really a great success," organizer Jennifer Caluri told Daily Voice.

Honorees who received plaques included:

The Rev. Jeremiah McGinley, who joined St. Anne in 1980, speaks with children every Friday and teaches math every other weekend;

Dominic Gerardo, who taught art at St. Anne for 40 years and continues to volunteer while retired;

The Fogarty family -- John, Tim, William, and Ann -- who began a fund that honors one teacher every year;

The Caggiano family, which operates Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home and have donated generously to the school;

Donna DiSclafani, a member of the advisory board, and her family;

Susan Jacobson, who was honored with DiSclafani for her work with the basketball program;

Joseph Tieng, the church's unofficial photographer;

Edward Trawinski, a church member for 50 years.

Fair Lawn Mayor John Cosgrove congratulated the honorees.

"There has been a long line of people who have helped their parish grow and have been successful in our community," Cosgrove said. "They certainly honored some well-deserving people."
