GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Porch Light Productions, which specializes in live theater and professional theater training, has been nominated for two New Jersey Association of Community Theaters Perry Awards.
The association celebrates outstanding achievements by artists of all disciplines involved in the performance and production of community theater shows.
Winners will be announced at the annual ceremony, Sept. 18 in Somerset,.
Porch Light has been nominated for Outstanding Production of an Original Musical, "Cracked!" (book, music and lyrics by Jon Provan) and Outstanding Youth Actress in a Musical, Kate Landino for "Little Women."
Porch Light has won several awards since it's first season in 2009, including Outstanding Production of a Play (RED), Outstanding Production of an Original Musical (Stage Fright), Outstanding Lighting Design (Zach Pizza, RED), Outstanding Direction of a Musical (Ryan Pifher, Spelling Bee), and Outstanding Musical DIrection (Jon Provan, Spelling Bee), among others.
