FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Michael Joseph Bartlett, a Fair Lawn resident died Tuesday, Nov. 10. He was 74.
Bartlett was born in Hoboken and raised in Weehawken. He resided in Fair Lawn since 1976. He was a parishioner of St. Anne R.C. Church in Fair Lawn. Prior to retiring, he was a custodian with the Borough of Fair Lawn Board of Education for 14 years. Upon retiring, he became a crossing guard with the Fair Lawn Police Department for eight years.
Bartlett is survived by his wife, Anna Maria (Bernabeo) Bartlett; children, Vasile-Falcone and husband John Falcone, Michelle Marana and husband Ralph, and Melissa Medici and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Michael, Juliana, Matthew, and Olivia.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn.
A Funeral Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anne R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne Street, Fair Lawn. Cremation will be private.
