FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- Regina M. McGuire, of Fair Lawn, died on Sunday, Feb. 12. She was 66.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Woodhaven, Queens, McGuire lived had in Fair Lawn since 1980. Before she retired, she was a registered nurse with Interim Health Care in Saddle Brook for 10 years.
"A faithful and active parishioner of St. Anne's Church in Fair Lawn, she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and parish nurse, visited homebound parishioners, and was a member of the Rosary Society and Bowling Club," information from the funeral home noted.
McGuire is survived by her husband, Gerard "Jerry" McGuire; children Michael McGuire, Matthew McGuire and his wife Natalia, and Maureen Gilligan and her husband Timothy; siblings Joseph Wallace and his wife Betty Ann, Ruth Galligan and her husband Frank, Catherine Donnelly and her husband Richard, and Mary Corwin.
A funeral mass was celebrated on Thursday morning, Feb. 16, at St. Anne's. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery, in Queens. Vander Plaat-Caggiano Funeral Home, in Fair Lawn, assisted with arrangements.
