Fair Lawn PD: Bogus Domino's Pizza Discounts Cook Employee

FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- An employee at Domino's Pizza in Fair Lawn was arrested for improperly placing discounts onto food orders and keeping the money that was discounted, authorities said.

Daryl Roberson, 21, was charged with theft by deception after Detective Paul Donohue discovered that he'd recorded -- and the pocketed -- $300 in phantom discounts on orders to the Domino's at 26-15 Broadway, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.

Roberson was released pending a hearing.
