Swain’s daughter and others were attending a party on Marie Court when police rolled up sometime after midnight following neighborhood complaints, a source with direct knowledge of the incidents told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

A K-9 unit was brought to the scene to search for drugs, another source said.

All told, seven adults – four males and three females – were arrested on various charges, mostly for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. They were later released.

Those charged include Jacob and Dimitry Sheynin, the alleged party hosts, who must go to court for maintaining a nuisance, a law enforcement official confirmed.

“It was a mixed bag of underage adults and juveniles holding the party,” the source told CLIFFVIEW PILOT. “The adult arrests were for possession of [drugs]. The rest were released at the scene pending further investigation, with possible charges pending for the alcohol.”

The previous party involved all juveniles on Kenneth Avenue. Although no one was taken into custody, complaints for violations of the borough’s underage drinking ordinance are being drawn up, a police source told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
