Glen Rock police and Bergen County Sheriff's Bureau of Police Services officers responded immediately to the 10 a.m. holdup of the Hudson City Savings branch on Prospect Street.

The robber described as black, in his 20’s or 30’s, wearing a light blue flat-brimmed baseball cap, a dark-colored sweat shirt and tan pants.

The sheriff's Bureau of Criminal Identification was collecting evidence.

It was too soon to tell whether there were connections to recent holdups at two other Bergen County branches of the same bank in the past two months.

Anyone who saw something or who has information that could help the investigation is asked to call Glen Rock Detectives Michael Trover (201) 670-3947 or James Calaski (201) 670-3948READ MORE....
