A Monroe Township man was convicted of abusing his six-year-old son during a treadmill workout that ultimately led to the boy's death, authorities said. Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Into Deer In Barnegat: Police
A man was killed when his motorcycle crashed into a deer in Ocean County, authorities said. The 63-year-old man was driving south on Warren Grove Road at around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, the Barnegat Police Department said in a Facebook post. The crash occurred at about 6 a.m. Thursday, March 14 southbound near milepost 62 in Eagleswood Township, according to New Jersey State Police. The Hino truck driver lost directional control, ran off the roadway to the left, struck the guardrail, and came to final rest in the wooded area, said Trooper Troy McNair, a State Police spokesman.
