One of the largest beachfront music festivals in the region is gearing up for its big return to Asbury Park. Green Day and Stevie Nicks have been announced as headliners for the annual Sea.Hear.Now Festival, a two-day music event that will treat fans to more than 25 performances Saturday, Sept. 17 and Sunday, Sept. 1. After a two-year hiatus, "They Might Be Giants" is ready to take the stage again. First stop? Asbury Park. A massive Italian festival more than a century old has returned to Jersey City. La Festa Italiana is running Wednesday, Aug. 10 through Sunday, Aug. 14 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., outside of the Holy Rosary Church on 344 Sixth St. The church itself was apparently the first Italian church in New Jersey, founded in 1885. Oceanfest is back, baby. The day-long Fourth of July event is making its big return this summer after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, according to its website.
