The Washington Post is reporting that Project Veritas, founded by Westwood's James Edward O'Keefe III, was behind a failed attempt to get the newspaper to publish a fake story about Alabama Senate candidate Republican Roy Moore. RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Former Ridgewood Mayor Paul Aronsohn and Manager Roberta Sonenfeld were issued violation notices by the New Jersey Local Finance Board for authorizing and appearing in a video that advocated only one side of a referendum question in June 2016, NJrandomgovt.blogspot.com reports. A mistrial has been declared in the corruption trial of United States Sen. Robert Menendez of New Jersey after jurors said they were unable to reach a verdict. The judge declared the mistrial shortly before noon Thursday after the jury sent him a note following four days of deliberations that they were hopelessly deadlocked.
